Illustration Friday-Strength


I worked in a hospital for about nine years. In that time I was amazed at how children with life threatening illnesses would try their best to still be kids. Most of them could barely sit up , but it didn't stop them from holding a firm grasp on a videogame controller. It seemed to me that their innocence held a hidden strength that kept them alive longer than anyone expected.

Illustration Friday-Night


I wanted to do something a little more spectacular for NIGHT, but I made the mistake of using a new paper stock that didn't want to accept ink from my pen. I got the main drawing done , but it took me a little too long so I didn't get the rest of the elements in. So just imagine this ninja on a roof top bathed in moonlight.
