Illustration Friday-Strength

I worked in a hospital for about nine years. In that time I was amazed at how children with life threatening illnesses would try their best to still be kids. Most of them could barely sit up , but it didn't stop them from holding a firm grasp on a videogame controller. It seemed to me that their innocence held a hidden strength that kept them alive longer than anyone expected.

I love your drawings! And this story is wonderful!
I read in an earlier post what you said about starting to draw again and I can tell you that I totally relate. It's so fantastic to be drawing again, and the encouragement and inspiration from on-line friends means a lot!
